The spacious room was impeccably clean and featured a flat-screen TV, making it a perfect space to unwind after a day of exploration. The bar lounge area was a cozy retreat, complete with a real fire and countless nooks where I could enjoy a drink and mingle with fellow travelers, embodying the welcoming spirit of the establishment. The staff, particularly the bar manager, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating an ambiance that made me feel right at home. With its prime location near various pubs and restaurants, this spot offered incredible value for money-a rarity in travel! I can't recommend McCarthy's enough; it struck a perfect balance between comfort, hospitality, and affordability, promising an unforgettable stay.
